Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce that one of its 2024 PlayLab offerings, DUNK CITY by Stephen Brown, will be featured in the National New Play Network’s 2025 Showcase of New Plays! Hosted by Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis, DUNK CITY is part of a six-play showcase, and the reading is directed by our own Associate Artistic Director, Jason Parrish. He’s joined by a cast of Minneapolis-based actors – as well as Florida Rep regular and Orlando-based Suzanne O’Donnell, who played the role of Donna in Florida Rep’s PlayLab last year.
Coincidentally, the NNPN Showcase also features a reading of ONE-SHOT by Andrew Rosendorf, which was read as part of Florida Rep’s 2023 PlayLab Festival.
