Ken Ludwig’s “A Comedy of Tenors” has taken center stage at the Florida Repertory Theatre.
The story takes place in 1930s Paris, where preparations are being made for the concert of the century. However, the producer must keep the Italian opera superstar and his wife from causing chaos, which they always do!
Inside a Parisian hotel suite, four tenors, two wives and three girlfriends start mayhem of the hilarious kind. At the same time, fans packed into a soccer stadium await the arrival of opera superstar Tito Merelli, played by Bradley Dean.
A Comedy of the Tenors is being shown until March 3 in the Florida Rep’s Historic Arcade Theatre.
